MLB.com to Air More Than 160 Spring Training Games in 2008

Package to feature 30 percent more games than last year, including 14 MLB.com- produced games

NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, will offer fans the most extensive package of live Spring Training games ever with more than 160 games available from Arizona and Florida, beginning with the Colorado Rockies and Chicago White Sox on February 27 at 3:05 p.m. (EST). The entire allotment of Spring Training broadcasts is available as part of the MLB.TV subscription product, along with every out-of- market game of the 2008 regular season.

In addition to more than 150 Spring Training television broadcasts, MLB.com will produce 14 exclusive live video broadcasts from the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues. Calling all the action for MLB.com will be former Major Leaguers Harold Reynolds, Billy Sample and John Marzano along with Ed Randall and Vinny Micucci.
