Austin Scott from Penn State Selects SKI & Company

- Scott to Participate in Penn State Pro Day March 18th - College Standout becomes first client for new SKI Talent Representation Division

BETHLEHEM, Pa. and NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- SKI & Company, a boutique sports and entertainment marketing communications firm with offices in Bethlehem, PA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, London, United Kingdom, and New York City, NY, announced today that Austin Scott, former Penn State star tailback, has been signed to the new Talent Representation Division at SKI & Company.

SKI & Company President & CEO Chris Lencheski stated, "With respect and sensitivity to the circumstances facing Austin off the field, we have accepted the opportunity to represent his interests in preparing for the upcoming NFL draft. It was only after considerable due diligence did we agree to place Mr. Scott into the SKI & Company family of quality companies, clients and programs. We are fully expecting Mr. Scott to be available to the NFL teams selecting for new professional talent at the NFL Draft in April. He is currently preparing by training 3-plus times a day with both current and former NFL players. More importantly, he is finishing his college degree on schedule while maintaining a demanding personal externship required for graduation at Penn State."

The Penn State Pro Day is fast approaching on March 18, and Scott is eager to participate. The fact that Scott is graduating from PSU on time significantly impressed the mind of another key component in the SKI & Company family, Dr. Al Leonzi.

A twenty-five year coaching veteran of college football, Leonzi serves as Executive Vice President to the football segment of SKI & Company's Talent Representation division. Leonzi's credentials speak for themselves; as a longtime coach at Kutztown University, Leonzi helped guide the early careers of legendary NFL wideout Andre Reed, NFL All-Pro John Mobley, and Bruce Harper.

Leonzi feels that Austin Scott is well-chosen to be the first client for SKI & Company's new group, saying, "I feel that he has all the credentials to be an NFL Draft Choice."

Donahue and JoAnn Scott, parents of the gifted athlete, were elated at their son's decision to sign with SKI & Company. "We appreciate (SKI & Company's) show of confidence," acknowledged Mrs. Scott, "Thank you to friends, family, and fans for your unwavering prayers and monetary support. We look forward to Austin pursuing his goals."

After two years of preparation by SKI & Company, Lencheski feels that the time has come for a new way of thinking about the 360 degree representation of NFL players. "We come humbly to NFL Player representation," said Lencheski. "We use our industry-leading sponsorship database, plus our own activation and marketing experiences from Olympics and NASCAR for the benefits of clients past and present like General Motors Racing and Coca-Cola's FUZE Beverage Division. Our SKI owned NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Teams are evidence of our commitment to sport and we look forward to working in the NFL community."

As many young NFL prospects go through their normal preparations prior to the combine, Scott has increased his training regimen tenfold. He knows his dedication to a grueling pace now will pay off with a surprising showing at the draft in April.
