Eldorado Natural Spring Water Wins in International Tasting Competition
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The 18th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting was held Saturday with more than 120 waters competing for top honors.
In the non-carbonated bottled water category Colorado's Eldorado Natural Spring Water took 2nd place! The entries were judged by ten journalists and food critics. The contest is known as the world's largest and longest running water tasting and is billed as the Academy Awards of water-tasting.
Judges based their rankings on taste, odor, mouth feel, and aftertaste. Waters from 19 states and 9 foreign countries, including New Zealand, Romania, Macedonia and the Philippines, were in the running. Eldorado Natural Spring Water flows from an aquifer at a depth of 8,000 feet.
