WebTech Wireless Announces Filing of Amended and Restated Financial Statements for Q2 and Q3 of FY 2007

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/29/08 -- WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX: WEW), a leading provider of location-based and fleet Telematics services, has released amended and restated unaudited financial statements for the quarters ended January 31, 2007 and April 30, 2007 (Q2 and Q3 of FY 2007) as a result of a review of the statements by the British Columbia Securities Commission.

The amended and restated financial statements provide expanded note disclosure of the effect of the restatement. This expanded note disclosure is found in Note 13 of the Q2 statements, and Note 14 of the Q3 statements. There are no dollar differences between the amended and restated statements and the restated financial statements previously released.

The amended and restated financial statements have been filed on SEDAR.
