WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Statement from Wendy's International regarding the shooting at the Wendy's on Military Avenue in West Palm Beach, Florida:

This is a terrible and sad day for our restaurant and the West Palm Beach community because this is a senseless tragedy.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

We are fully cooperating with the sheriff's office, and our employees have each given statements. Our video cameras have been turned over to the investigators. We are hopeful that the authorities can determine the reason behind this random act of violence.
