Guest-Tek to install OneView(TM) IPTV high definition in Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, a premier destination resort
CALGARY, AB, and TETON VILLAGE, WY, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd., ("Guest-Tek") (TSX:GTK) has announced an agreement (the "Agreement") with the Terra Resort Group to install OneView(TM) Internet protocol television ("IPTV") and video-on-demand ("VOD") in high definition ("HD") into the Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, located at the legendary Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
With this Agreement, the Hotel Terra Jackson Hole's guests will enjoy high quality HD entertainment from the leading studios, as well as an extensive line-up of HD free-to-guest ("FTG") television channels. The Hotel Terra Jackson Hole is an independent hotel under development in two phases and will offer 132 rooms upon completion. Phase one will see 72 guest rooms go live in the spring of 2008, phase two will see another 60 rooms in 2010. In addition, Hotel Terra Jackson Hole is the first in a planned worldwide collection of eco-friendly hotels, all branded Hotel Terra. The OneView(TM) Media solution designed by Guest-Tek for the Terra Resort Group is capable of supporting all phases of development, allowing the new rooms to be added onto the system as they are ready to go live. While the network has been designed for the final capacity, the ability to provide a different look and feel for the different hotels was of significant interest to Terra Resort Group as well. Hotel Terra Jackson Hole is being designed to leverage the Internet protocol (IP) network deployed by Guest-Tek to reduce energy usage through the networking of thermostats in the guest rooms.
