Recycle Your E-Waste in Redlands
REDLANDS, Calif., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Redlands will host an electronic waste (e-waste) collection event on Saturday, March 29. This special event provides an opportunity for the city of Redlands and surrounding communities to properly dispose of obsolete monitors, televisions, computers, printers, copiers, fax machines and cell phones.
This free collection event will be held between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and consumers can drop off their obsolete consumer electronics at the ease e-waste truck that will be located at the school's parking lot on the northeast corner of University and Brockton Avenues. The University of Redlands is partnering with ease e-waste, a California EPA certified company specializing in the collection and recycling of electronic waste. This joint effort increases awareness about the importance of recycling and provides an easy and cost-free way for consumers to properly dispose of their electronics.
