FORT WORTH, Texas, March 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Gladney Center for Adoption celebrates its 120th Anniversary on March 28-29, 2008. The two-day celebration is packed with Fort Worth-style family fun. Gladney is taking this opportunity to honor and acknowledge its past while celebrating its exciting future. Weekend events include:

Friday March 28

The 44th Annual Blossoms in the Dust Luncheon and Style Show at the Fort Worth Convention Center Ballroom -- This exciting and unique style show features Gladney parents and their children. This year, Gladney is celebrating Gladney families from the past, present and future. The Silent Auction and Bazaar begin at 9:30 a.m. with luncheon seating at 11:30 a.m.

Friday March 28 -- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Deep in the Heart of Texas at Billy Bob's Texas with the Texas two-step, bull riding and arcade games for pint-sized cowboys and cowgirls.

Saturday March 29 -- 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Passport Home at the Gladney Center Campus

This free event is open to the public and celebrates Gladney's ever-growing international family. Tour the globe while never leaving Gladney's campus. Expect a fun-filled day of international food, dancing, carnival games and entertainment.

120th Anniversary Gala at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel

The capstone event for the 120th celebration is a gala honoring President and CEO Michael J. McMahon. During McMahon's tenure, over 4,300 children have been placed in permanent and loving homes.

Gladney is a recognized leader in domestic and international adoptions, maternity services, family support services and humanitarian aid projects around the globe.
