Non-Brokered Private Placement

SPARKS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/20/08 -- Romarco Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: R) (the "Company") today announced that, further to its press release dated February 21, 2008, the closing of its non-brokered private placement of units is now expected to take place on March 28, 2008. All of the terms of the private placement remain as described in the Company's February 21, 2008 press release. The private placement is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions including the receipt of necessary regulatory approvals.

Romarco Minerals Inc. is a gold development company focused on production in the US and Mexico.
