Buccino, Chairman and CEO, presented at the New Jersey Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) event earlier this month. Mr. Buccino was part of a four person panel discussing "Enron, The Rise, The Fall and the Aftermath!" The event took place on the campus of Seton Hall University on March 6, 2008. The panelist commented after TMA members and students watched the award winning movie entitled "The Smartest Guys In The Room", an unedited story of what transpired at Enron at many levels of management.

Mr. Buccino's comments focused on corporate governance changes post Enron and the effects of the Sarbanes-Oxley Legislation. He noted that corporate governance practices are a reflection of top management and that good ethical practices are set from the Chairman and/or CEO's office. He encouraged that the Chairman of the Board be a non-executive of the Corporation, thereby separating the duties of the CEO from the duties of the Chairman. He also commented on the need for increases in director compensation to deal with added duties and responsibilities as a result of Sarbanes-Oxley. He noted that the Fortune 500 companies pay an average, 200,000 in annual compensation to each director which might cause tension between earnings and the need to be completely independent.
