Dancing With the Stars' Cheryl Burke Kicks Up Her Heels With Burbank Boys & Girls Club Teens

BURKE AND TEENS KICK OFF TACO BELL FOUNDATION 'TEEN HERO AWARDS'

WHO: Cheryl Burke, professional dancer and two-time winner on Dancing
With the Stars, Taco Bell Foundation for Teens, Think MTV, and
Boys & Girls Club of Burbank

WHAT: Cheryl Burke will visit the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank to
teach teens Cha Cha Cha steps and perform for a group of senior
citizens. Burke is helping to kick off the Taco Bell Foundation
"Teen Hero Awards" -- a month-long search to honor amazing teens
who have made an impact in the community through volunteerism.
The teens are part of a dance troupe that volunteer at local
community events and senior living facilities.

WHY: In celebration of National Volunteer Month, Taco Bell Foundation
for Teens, in partnership with Think MTV, is launching the Teen
Hero Awards, a nationwide search to honor amazing teen
volunteers. Beginning March 31 through April 25, 2008
individuals can nominate a Teen Hero by submitting a nomination
form and an original essay of 100-250 words explaining why the
teen is a hero. Nominations can be submitted by logging onto
http://www.teenheroawards.com/.

One local winner from the LA area will receive a grant for
$5,000 for an eligible charity of their choice, and the chance
to compete for the grand prize-which includes an additional
$10,000 grant. Taco Bell Foundation for Teens will award up to
50 Teen Hero winners across the country with a total of
$250,000. In conjunction with the Teen Hero Awards,
participating Taco Bell(R) restaurants across the country are
teaming up to raise $1 million to benefit teen volunteer
programs at Boys & Girls Clubs and other eligible charities.
