New General Dynamics Information Technology President Daniel Johnson Selects the April 15 NVTC Titans Breakfast for First Speaking Engagement as President
HERNDON, Va., April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, will host S. Daniel Johnson, the new president of General Dynamics Information Technology, at its Titans Breakfast on April 15 -- marking his first speaking engagement before the National Capital Region's technology business community. Johnson assumed the role of General Dynamics Information Technology president on April 1.

Additionally, Johnson was the chief operating officer at Anteon Corporation in 2005 at the time of its acquisition by General Dynamics. He was at the forefront of the merger and integration of that 9,000-person organization into General Dynamics to form the new General Dynamics Information Technology, which employs 16,000 individuals worldwide and provides IT, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civil, international and commercial sectors.
