On Day of Fundraiser With 35 Lobbyists as Hosts, Leading Reform Group Will Present McCain With Letter Asking Him to Support Needed Public Financing of All Federal Races

WASHINGTON, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Public Campaign Action Fund will hold a conference call Tuesday open to reporters, opinion writers, columnists, and bloggers to announce the next steps in its efforts to hold Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) accountable for his position on public financing for all federal races. The group will deliver to McCain a letter signed by thousands of concerned citizens urging him to uphold his reputation as a reformer and support public financing of elections.
