MRV Announces 3-Digit Growth Rate in Launches and Sales in 1Q08

BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil, April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MRV Engenharia e Participacoes S.A. (Bovespa: MRVE3), largest Brazilian real estate developer and homebuilder in the low-income segment, releases its launches and contracted sales in 1Q08.

Launches (%MRV) in 1Q08 reached R$691.5 million (100% - R$751.9 million), a 223.1% growth when compared to the same quarter of 2007 and 34.8% higher than 4Q07.

Contracted Sales (%MRV) totaled R$340.1 million in 1Q08 (100% - R$361.3 million), an increase of 161.2% when compared to 1Q07 and 36.2% higher than 4Q07.
