Deltacom Expands Private Line Portfolio With Simpli-Hub
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ITC^DeltaCom, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ITCD.OB) , a leading provider of integrated communications services to customers in the southeastern United States, today announced the expansion of its Private Line service offering, adding Simpli-Hub, a flat rate service including a DS-3 Mux and on-net transport for up to twenty-eight terminating DS-1 private line circuits.
"Simpli-Hub allows Deltacom's customers to leverage our southeastern network, including reach into tier 2 and tier 3 markets, to cost effectively connect remote sites to central locations over a private network architecture," said Tony Tomae, Executive Vice President of Wholesale and Enterprise Services. "The addition of Simpli-Hub to our comprehensive portfolio of data, IP and voice services provides Deltacom with more alternatives to create solutions that meet our customer's specific needs." Deltacom will sell Simpli-Hub through its enterprise and carrier sales channels. The flat rate transport and ability to aggregate local access at the hub location makes Simpli-Hub a cost effective, hub and spoke, private networking solution. Enterprise customers can utilize the service to address their need for predictably priced, private networking between their central corporate sites and distant branch, remote office and alternate campus locations. Under Deltacom's Interstate FiberNet division, carrier customers can implement the service to aggregate their voice and data networks from remote locations to their central point-of-presence and switching facilities.
