Achievo CIO Discusses IT Security at IAOP Chicago Chapter Meeting

"Bud" Mathaisel, the Company's senior vice president and chief information officer, will give a presentation on IT Security at the next chapter meeting of the Chicago chapter of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). The next meeting of the IAOP's Chicago Chapter will be from 3:30 pm-7:00 pm (CDT) on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Hyatt Center, 71 Wacker Drive, Chicago. Mr. Mathaisel's presentation is entitled "IT Security -- What to Do When Preparing to Outsource." The presentation addresses steps for preparing for an outsourcing arrangement, the IT security issues relevant to outsourcing, how ISO 27001 certification impacts the effectiveness of outsourcing partnerships, the components of an ISO 27001 certification, and how it is awarded. This quarter's chapter meeting also includes "The Key Elements of the Outsourcing Contract," to be presented by Gregg Kirchhoefer, partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
