U.S. Lutheran Presiding Bishop at Grand View College Commencement April 26

The keynote speaker for Grand View's commencement is John Pappajohn, a well-known philanthropist and venture capitalist. Commencement begins at 2 p.m. in Hy-Vee Hall, downtown Des Moines. He, too, will receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree in recognition of his contributions to the community. Mr. Pappajohn founded and owns Equity Dynamics, a successful venture capital firm headquartered in Des Moines. He will deliver his address to approximately 415 graduates and 4,000 friends and family members.
