The Lieberman-Warner bill is expected to see floor action in the U.S. Senate in early June. The report analyzes the bill's benefits for consumers, energy efficiency efforts and clean energy technologies, including specific impacts it would have on electricity rates for an average household in Ohio.

Showing that carbon dioxide pollution from U.S. power companies is still rising, the report will be discussed at 11 a.m. EDT on April 24, 2008 during a live, phone-based national news conference with full Q&A.
