FHM Online Reveals Megan Fox as the Sexiest Woman in the World for 2008

Fox Transforms This Year's 100 Sexiest Women in the World Poll Taking the Coveted Spot From Jessica Alba

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/23/08 -- FHM Online (www.FHMonline.com) announced that Megan Fox is the global winner of the eagerly anticipated poll for the 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2008. Last year's champion, Jessica Alba, steps down to number three giving the new title to Fox, who claims the top spot for the first time after the largest FHM poll in history.

"FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World delivers the definitive list of the most beautiful women in the world. We've had more votes than ever this year so it seems everyone around the world has cast their votes," said FHM Online U.S. Editor JR Futrell. "Megan Fox is the deserving winner of this year's FHM title. She's young, she's hot, she's a rising star and her sex appeal has definitely transformed this year's list. She's got a great future ahead of her."

Fox, who starred in last year's blockbuster "Transformers," has the upcoming film "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" co-starring Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson and Simon Pegg scheduled for fall 2008. Fox debuted on the list at #68 in 2006 and ranked #65 in 2007. Joining her on the U.S. list in the top 10 are Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Elisha Cuthbert, Scarlett Johansson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Hilary Duff, Tricia Helfer, Blake Lively and Kate Beckinsale.

Now in its 14th year, FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll continues to be the original and largest search for the most beautiful women on the planet. Each year, FHM and its readers choose 100 of the most successful women in film, television, music, sports and fashion from around the world. This year nearly nine million votes were cast by FHM readers worldwide.

Other notable selections on the U.S. list include Angelina Jolie (#12), Rihanna (#14), Lindsay Lohan (#16), Cameron Diaz (#18), Beyonce Knowles (#20), Jennifer Aniston (#42), Eva Longoria Parker (#59), Fergie (#60), Katie Holmes (#65), Paris Hilton (#77), Madonna (#87), Victoria Beckham (#99) and Britney Spears (#100).

Also new to this year's list is the addition of reality stars marking the increasing popularity of the genre in the U.S. Three girls from the "The Hills" rose above the ranks this year. And who was voted the hottest out of the group? Heidi Montag (#44) beat out her fellow co-stars Audrina Patridge (#80) and Lauren Conrad (#95). From "Dancing with the Stars," actress Shannon Elizabeth (#46) returned to the list after being absent last year, joining Cheryl Burke (#40) and Karina Smirnoff (#78) who make their debuts.

"It's no surprise to us that so many reality stars made this year's list," Futrell added. "'The Hills' is one of the most popular shows on MTV and 'Dancing with the Stars' is the #2 reality show in America after 'American Idol.' We expect even more to be added next year."
