Pacific Coast Nickel Corp. Commences 2008 Exploration Program at Big Nic

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/28/08 -- Pacific Coast Nickel Corp. (TSX-V: NKL) is pleased to provide this summary of our 2008 exploration program. Further information will be provided as details become available.

2008 Exploration Program

During the winter we reprocessed previously obtained airborne geophysical data to identify additional drill targets. Over the past two weeks, a ground magnetic survey was completed to follow up on EM targets identified from reprocessing.

Four ground magnetic grids were surveyed in mid-April 2008. These grids covered five EM targets in the Mt. Parker and SPX areas of the property.

The Company will be continuing exploration on its Big Nic Property this summer. Once snow has retreated the Company intends to conduct further drilling on the Northern part of the property about 10 km north of last year's program.
