WHAT: Southern California Gas Co. (The Gas Company) is hosting its third annual Energy Efficiency Expo to show commercial and industrial natural gas customers how "going green" can be good for their bottom line.

This year's Expo promises to be the most informative yet, with a keynote speech by California Public Utilities Commissioner Timothy Alan Simon and a breakout session on energy and the region's economy by Jack Kyser of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp.

The Gas Company also will recognize significant energy-saving projects of the past year, including equipment upgrades at a South Gate, Calif., asphalt manufacturer that have reduced the company's annual energy costs by more than $1 million.
