National Society of Hispanic MBAs Orange County Chapter Presents: Expert Advice on Orange County's Current Economic Climate

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., May 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Thursday, May 15th, 2008 in Irvine, CA, The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) Orange County Chapter and Smith Barney will host "Expert Advice on Orange County's Current Economic Climate."

The event includes a networking reception and discussion about the economic climate in Orange County presented by John Konop. "We're fortunate to have a speaker that can shed some light on today's economic climate in Orange County. With so much uncertainty, it's important that our community be informed," stated Ms. Maria Rodriguez Villegas, Orange County Chapter President.

Mr. Konop is the Managing Director of Smith Barney's Irvine branch. He began his career as a financial advisor in downtown Los Angeles in 1980 and was later promoted to manage the Malibu, California office in 1986. Since then, he has successfully managed several Smith Barney offices in Los Angeles and Orange County. In 2002, he became the managing director for the Irvine branch.
