WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Shaw's is voluntarily recalling Shaw's Brand Fresh Ground Beef supplied by Fairbank Farms following a voluntary recall issued by Fairbank Farms. The affected product may contain small pieces of hard plastic. As always, the health and safety of our customers is our No. 1 priority, and we are working quickly to ensure that affected products are removed from store shelves.

Shaw's 80/20 Ground Beef Bulk, 1.2-pound unit
Shaw's 80/20 Ground Beef Patty, 1.3-pound unit
Shaw's 80/20 Ground Beef Patty, 3.0-pound unit

The recalled product has a Julian Date: 124 (on the bottom label) with a Sell by dates: 5/7, 5/8, 5/9, 5/10, 5/11, 5/12, 5/13.

Customers who have purchased the affected product should bring the product back to a Shaw's store location for a full refund or exchange.
