Briefing on the planning, engineering, environmental and
outreach work to date for the Los Angeles to Anaheim
Project-Level EIR/EIS environmental process.
-- Presentation on ARTIC Station
The City of Anaheim will give an overview and update on ARTIC
Station and the transit oriented development proposed in the
station area.
-- Financing: The Infrastructure Management Group will update
board members on the request for expressions of interest in
public-private partnerships ("P3") work as well as an overview
on the scope of work for an economic impact study.
-- High-Speed Train Station Development Policies
Staff will present a briefing on proposed Station Area
Development Policies. This will be presented as an action item.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority is responsible for building high-speed train service that is integrated with the state's inter-city trains and bus networks, covering 800 miles at speeds over 220 MPH. By linking all major cities with a state of the art new transportation option, California's planned high-speed train system will increase mobility while cutting air pollution and reducing the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming.
