Anthony Young Named Oilman of the Year

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennessee Oil & Gas Association announces Anthony Young, President of Young Oil Corporation was presented The Oilman of the Year Award at a luncheon during the TOGA Annual Convention, held at the Knoxville Marriott. TOGA President, Lynn Waggoner, sited the Richard Norrod #1 well, that had initial production of 1944 barrels of oil per day and was the most productive well in Tennessee for 2007, along with the many other productive wells drilled by Young as being the reason for this unprecedented honor. This is the third time Young has received this award, and the only person to ever receive TOGA Oilman of the Year more than once in their career. TOGA Past President, Bill Goodwin stated, "this award is not an annual award. It is only presented when extraordinary performance in the oil fields merit such. Anthony is very deserving of Oilman of the Year because he truly is a Boom-Maker that treats his investors fairly."
