Senator Boxer To Visit Orange County Great Park

LOS ANGELES, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) will visit the Orange County Great Park on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

Senator Boxer will tour the Orange County Great Park at 1:45 p.m. with Irvine Mayor Beth Krom and Councilman Larry Agran, as well as members of the Boards of the Great Park and Great Park Conservancy. The Great Park is being constructed at the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. Senator Boxer is seeking federal funds to help the Great Park rehabilitate and refurbish a hangar for public use.

Following her tour and brief remarks, Senator Boxer will take questions from the press.
