National Press Club Panel Features Leading Chicago Journalists Discussing State of Media

A panel discussion on "The First Amendment, Freedom of Speech and the Future of Journalism" featuring leading Chicago journalists. The panel is part of a public education campaign undertaken by the National Press Club to honor its centennial year. The Press Club's partners in this national program are: the World Affairs Council and Aviva USA, one of the nation's fastest growing life insurers.

A screening of the documentary film "The National Press Club at 100: a Century of Headlines" begins at 7:00 p.m. The panel discussion itself will begin after the film at 8:00 p.m. The panel will conclude at 9:00 p.m.
