University of Denver to Develop White Paper from 'The State of Latinos: 2008 Colorado Town Hall Meeting'

DENVER, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Salinas, Fundacion Azteca America, Azteca America Colorado and University of Denver's Latino Center for Community Engagement and Scholarship (DULCCES) have teamed up to ensure that the opinions of leading Latino community leaders are taken into account during the next administration.

Policymakers from around the country will meet at Azteca America Colorado studios in Denver to discuss the State of Latinos in the United States on May 30.

"The panelists of the Latino Agenda 2008 Town Hall Meeting represent a very high level and complete range of Latino community groups, and it is important that their ideas are presented together to our nation's leaders. The white paper will be produced by a special action group of key academic leaders and will offer steps and solutions to the issues that affect Latinos in the United States.

The document is expected to be completed and released in August of 2008.
