Uranium Hunter Names Ghaith Qamheiah as New CEO and President

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/27/08 -- Uranium Hunter Corporation (OTCBB: URHN) ("Uranium Hunter" or the "Company") today announced that Mr. Adam Cegielski has resigned both as CEO and President and will remain with the company as Founder and consultant. Mr. Ghaith Qamheiah, a board member since March 2007 has been appointed new CEO and President, and will concentrate on expanding the Company's property portfolio and exploration program.

Mr. Qamheiah is a Professional Engineer registered in the Province of Ontario. He earned his Bachelor's of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

Mr. Qamheiah, is also the Managing Director of Arcan Management Consultants Inc.; a specialty business management firm providing turn-key management solutions to small-cap private and public corporations since 1991. In this capacity, Mr. Qamheiah has assisted new start-ups spanning several industry spaces in business plan development, project management, financial, strategic and market analysis as well as fundraising efforts.

Mr. Qamheiah is also a principal of Professional Loss Control; a consulting engineering firm founded in 1983. Having worked in this capacity with the likes of Ontario Power Generation, Bruce Power, Hydro Quebec, Atomic Energy of Canada, and Cameco Corporation, Mr. Qamheiah possesses a thorough knowledge base of the nuclear industry from the uranium exploration and mining stages, to the milling, refining and conversion stages leading to fuel production for use in power generation and research based industries.

In addition, over the years, Mr. Qamheiah has contributed his expertise along side the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and other committee members charged with the drafting of new regulations governing the safety design, construction, refurbishment, commissioning and decommissioning of nuclear power generating stations in Canada.
