Beginning June 6, 2008, with The Lowes Foods Taste of Charlotte (NC) food festival and concluding at the GrapeFest in Grapevine, TX on September 13, 2008, this 8-city tour offers fun, interactive events including sweepstakes, product sampling, prize giveaways, free health screenings and massages, games, and the popular Faces of 50+ Real People Model Search, in which AARP The Magazine looks for vivacious, active men and women, in age groups 50-59, 60-69, and 70+, who reflect the magazine's belief that beauty and style don't expire as you age.

Applicants for the Faces of 50+ Real People Model Search can enter either in person at AARP The Magazine's Road Show stops across the country or online at www.aarpmagazine.org/modelsearch, where applicants can nominate themselves or someone else beginning June 6, 2008. Additionally, readers will be able to vote for their favorite Face of 50+ in the "Readers' Choice" program, which last year generated more than 31,000 votes online. The Readers' Choice and editor-selected "Faces" will participate in a photo shoot and appear in a 2009 issue of AARP The Magazine.
