BioNeutral Laboratories Announces Successful Results in Residual-Activity Testing of Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold Formulation

Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold Is Designed to Eradicate Mold on Contact and Help Prevent Re-Growth

NEWARK, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/29/08 -- BioNeutral Laboratories announces successful test results for its Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold formulation. These test results show that Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold formulation totally eliminated all mold within 15 seconds. In addition to these outstanding time-to-kill results, Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold also prevents the reoccurring growth of mold when extremely high levels of mold spores are inoculated onto surfaces that have been treated with Ygiene(TM). The conditions used in these tests are much more demanding and far exceed conditions that would be present in a natural mold recurrence. These results confirm that the Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold formulation produces rapid mold eradication and continues to protect treated surfaces from mold re-growth. BioNeutral is arranging field tests with the Ygiene(TM) Anti-Mold formula in order to address the serious health threatening issues associated with mold contamination.

According to the CDC (www.CDC.gov), all molds should be treated the same as any potential health risk. Mold has been associated with symptoms such as nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing, or skin irritation as well as more serious reactions, such as fever, shortness of breath, chronic sinus infections, and asthma. Mold is difficult to eradicate since mold spores can survive a long time until conditions are favorable for growth. The cost of mold eradication has been estimated to be in the billions of dollars annually, according to some estimates.

This press release follows BioNeutral's May 19, 2008 announcement that the company's Ogiene(TM) CE formaldehyde neutralization formula successfully reduced formaldehyde in travel trailers, supplied by FEMA, to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Prior to treatment with Ogiene(TM) CE, the mean formaldehyde levels among the trailers tested was 85 parts per billion (ppb), at least 10 times the Minimum Risk Level (MRL) for > 365 day exposure of 8 ppb, established by the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. Following spray application with Ogiene(TM) CE, the mean formaldehyde levels dropped to 8 ppb.
