Gladney Center for Adoption is Reaching Out to Earthquake Victims in China

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Gladney Center for Adoption's China Initiative is collecting donations to help the victims of the massive earthquake. Gladney families have banded together to assist with earthquake relief efforts. "Our hearts are broken for the great people of China. Now is a time for us to come together and raise money for relief efforts. It is vital that we mobilize our resources and send them to China as quickly as possible," says Gongzhan Wu, Asian Program Manager and Director of Gladney's New York Office. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go directly to the children and families from hardest-hit-areas in the province of Sichuan.

In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China.
