OFT scambusters target racegoers at 2008 Derby festival to warn of tipster scams

Event: OFT day-long campaign at Epsom Downs Racecourse on 6 June.

What: The OFT is campaigning to crack down on bogus racing tipster scams
which new figures show costs UK consumers at least =A35million every year. OFT
Scambusters are handing out thier own version of a fake tipster scam mailing
to racegoers attending the Derby Festival. The mailing copies the techniques
of the scam mailing.

When/ where: Epsom Downs Racecourse, Epsom Downs, Surrey, KT18 5LQ from
11.30am on Friday 6 June.
